30 Jul A Few Myths
One of the most amazing benefits of the Digital Age is that three of the largest obstacles to becoming an entrepreneur have been eliminated, making it much easier to get started in business … right away!
In the past, you needed experience, capital, and connections. It wasn’t easy to acquire the experience you needed to be successful. For example, if you were opening a restaurant, you’d need to start out as an apprentice so you could learn how to manage the chefs in the kitchen, and the wait staff, and learn the ropes about marketing, accounting, procurement, and all the other elements of operating a successful restaurant.
You also needed a lot of money because you had to either lease or purchase a facility, have sufficient funds to stock your inventory, afford tables and chairs, purchase utensils, plates, and glasses, and have sufficient funds to employ staff and cover a host of other expenses.
The third barrier to entry was having the right connections so you could get a business loan, know which suppliers would be fair with you, be able to access a network of high-quality personnel willing to work at your restaurant, as well as know a good attorney, a good accountant, and other business and restaurant professionals.
These three barriers are no longer blocking you from launching your business. Today you can start a business with limited experience, low capital, and no industry connections.
How is this possible? Let’s find out!
